The Jean Monnet Chair “Εuropean Constitutional Law and Constitutional Culture”
was awarded -following an international competitive selection process- under the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Program (now Erasmus+)
(funded by the European Commission for the years 2012–2015, 2020–24, and 2024–27).

Within this framework, the following courses are taught:

– “Constitutional Law of the European Union” (in English and Greek) and

– “European Human Rights Law” (in English, for ERASMUS+ students).

Graduate courses on
– “Constitutional Law of the European Union”, and
– “Fundamental Rights in Europe”,
within the framework of the ESIS Master’s programme.

An undergraduate course (in Greek): “The European Convention on Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU in the Greek Legal System.”

and an EPICUR (online) course: “Human Rights, Constitutional Culture and Values in Europe”.

At the same time, academic workshops, lectures, seminars, summer schools, and conferences on topics falling within the scope of European constitutional law and constitutional culture, with the participation of academics, judges, students, and the general public.
