Dear Partner,
Greetings from the University of Trento!
We are pleased to announce that our new Bachelor’s Degree Course, taught entirely in English, in Comparative, European and Legal Studies (CEILS) is now online at http://offertaformativa.unitn.it/en/l/comparative-european-and-international-legal-studies
CEILS aims to provide high quality teaching in small classes under the supervision of International and Italian academics. Students will be exposed to a variety of methodologies, disciplinary traditions and jurisdictions. Courses will cover a broad range of fields and enhance the comparative, international and transnational dimensions of law. The Faculty of Law of Trento is one of the leading Italian legal research institutions, having been recognized for its strong international vocation. Indeed, we will be the first academic institution in Italy to provide such a Bachelor’s Degree Course taught entirely in English.
From the a.y. 2017-18, in addition to the English courses already offered by the Faculty of Law, International students will have the chance to attend courses of the CEILS programme. Please note that CEILS courses will be available only for undergraduate students. As for the linguistic requirements, students are expected to have a minimum B2 English level.
CEILS will offer its students the opportunity of an authentic international learning experience and we hope to attract best students and scholars from all over the world. For these reasons, we strongly wish to increase the number of incoming students from your University, with the aim of reaching a balance between incoming and outcoming Erasmus+ mobility in the future.
We would be very grateful is you could spread the news of our new Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative, European and Legal Studies among your students.
Please find in attachment CEILS Brochure and poster a.y. 2017-18 and the academic offer of the Faculty of Law 2016-17. We will send you the updated course list for the a.y. 2017-18 as soon as it is available.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at mobility-ssh@unitn.it
We are looking forward to welcoming your students!
Kind Regards,
