The Faculty of Law is governed, according to Law No. 4485/2017, by the following institutional bodies (since 1.12.2017):
I. The General Assembly of the Faculty, which consists of:
- The Dean of the Faculty (three-year term)
- All Teaching and Research Faculty Members (DEP)
- The student representatives (annual term)
- The representatives of the Special Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP) (two-year term)
II. The Deanship of the Faculty, which consists of:
- The Dean of the Faculty (three-year term)
- The Department Chairs (annual term)
- Five members elected by the General Assembly of the Faculty (three-year term)
- The student representatives (annual term)
- The representatives of the Special Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP) (two-year term)
III. The Dean of the Faculty (three-year term)
The institutional bodies of the Faculty and their duties are specified in Articles 17 (General Assembly), 18 (Deanship) and 19 (Dean of the Faculty) of Law No. 4485/2017.
