Framework agreement for the collaboration of the two Faculties
The framework agreement for academic collaboration and exchanges between the Julius-Maximilians University of Würzburg (www.jura.uni-wuerzburg.de) and the Faculty of Law of AUTH was signed by the relevant bodies of the two universities in early 2012 and began its implementation process in 1.6.2012. The collaboration agreement was renewed on 15.03.2017 for another five years.
This Agreement provides, among others, for the exchange of scientific material, publications and information between the two universities and for mutual visits by members of each School. In this context, the possibility of joint research programs, publications and scientific conferences as well as the organization of a summer course program for students in Würzburg and in Thessaloniki is further envisaged. In the winter semester 2017/18, Professors A. Koutsouradis and Ath. Pouliadis, Associate Professor Ang. Kornilakis, Lecturers T. Kosmides and Ap. Tassikas, and S. Kotronis, external associate of our Faculty of Law, have already taught in the framework of the course “Rechtsvergleichung II – Einzelne Institutionen”, which took place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Würzburg under the responsibility of Prof. Mr. Bien, while it is scheduled for the Assistant Professors R. Giovannopoulos, N. Eleftheriadis, Ach. Bechlivanis and G. Psaroudakis, George Nouskalis, Kalliope Papakonstinou to teach in the framework of the same course.
Responsible for the agreement coordination and further information, from the Greek side, is Professor Mr. Achilleas Koutsouradis (devechi@law.auth.gr), assisted by Assistant Professor Ms. Eleni Zervogianni (elzervog@law.auth.gr). After his retirement, the former will be replaced by Professor Ms. M. Kaiafa-Gbandi.(kaiafagb@law.auth.gr).
